Our Emergency Services section serves many residents of the Greater High Point community by providing funds to help those in need pay necessary bills such as electricity and water and rent; by collecting, storing, and giving away food to those in need; by partnering with the Salvation Army in giving away clothes; and by serving two hot meals a day to as many as 85-100 people per meal. Your help is needed in all of these areas; by volunteering here at Open Door, you can help make a difference in someone's life, while enriching your own.
